Blue Bird Birthday

This is my entry for the Tuesday Color challenge over at The Outlawz.

This little blue bird was cut on my Silhouette Cameo using a cut file I purchased from Silhouette's online store. This is actually a card cut file, but I cut off one end to make it a frame. I layered it on designer paper with multiple colors of blue. I used white craft ink to distress the bird, branches and leaves.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is also cut from my Silhouette. I layered the entire thing on white card stock and added a white pearl for the bird's eye and swirls of white pearls for dimension and texture.

  2. Love this card! AND, BTW, you used the pearls for my benefit, cuz you know I love sparkly and bling! NO? Oh, my mistake. LOL I just love ALL of those blues together that way. Stunning. I love these Silhouette images, also. What fun!! Gorgeous card, Susan!! (PS. How did you stick that sentiment down? I am having the worst time with wet glue, either smudging or not sticking...any tips, hints, or ideas?)
