I fell in love with this little bird immediately. The sentiment is also from Doodle Pantry. I created the frame for the image using my Silhouette Cameo. I used the negative space of the cut file instead of the cut file itself. I thought it looked perfect for this happy bird. I colored the bird with Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. Added a butterfly bling and black metal bling. I layered this on black card stock and then a white card stock base. Just looking at this little bird makes me happy!
Susan your card is delightful, who can look at the happy birdie and not smile; just a wonderful fun card! Thanks for joining us at the DPDC#30!

OK, I'm back without my DT hat . :-D I'm your latest follower and just wish you had the "Follow by E-mail" option on your blog. I'm so good at making blog visits but only when I get notices in my e-mail box that something has been posted. I'm just NOT good at checking the readers. Of course I see your work over on Outlawz all the time but that's not quite the same. If you ever add the E-mail option, will you let me know? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCute as can be. Lovely bright and cheerful card. Pretty butterfly.
ReplyDeleteOh, Susan, Thanks so much for adding the e-mail option! I'm all signed up now. :-D
