True Love Rose

This is my entry for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge over at The Outlawz.

 

This was a fabulous sketch. All of the embellishments on this card were handmade by me using resin and molds. The rose and dots at the bottom were poured with clear resin and after they were hard, I used Adirondack alcohol ink to color them. For the 3 bows, I mixed the clear resin with black acrylic paint and then poured into the molds to harden. I used Spellbinder's  Labels 25 for the center. To get the mat, I used the same die and placed it on black card stock and using a white gel pen, traced the outer edge, and then cut it out by hand. The sentiment is from Gina K. Design's Basket Additions set by Melanie Muenchinger. The card base is Calypso Red by Gina K., layered with Black Onyx and White Pure Luxury Layering Weight.
