For my sample, I used the Oranges & Cherries set. This is a previously released set that has now been colorized. You still get the outline images, which is what I chose to use. I printed the image and sentiment from the same set on white card stock. I colored my image with Copic markers (cherries - R24, R46, R59; leaves - YG03, YG63, YG67; branch - E33, E79). I added glossy accents to the cherries to make them shine. I cut an oval on my Silhouette Cameo and used the negative space as a mask. Using Real Red ink from Stampin' Up!, I sponged around the inside of the oval. I mounted the image on a piece of black card stock and then on a white card stock base. I added the crystal flower and flourish bling and then the red round crystals at the bottom of the card.

Sweet card Susan. The cherries are making my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular coloring Susan! This is a beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely. Those cherries have so much depth, what fantastic coloring! Love you layout, also. AND, the bling! LOL I love bling! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDelightful image, and colored beautifully. Your G/accents really did shine out too. Loved that sponging on your oval shape too. You do a great job on keeping track of your copics used...I always just play it by ear, and never remember for sure which ones I did. This is a lovely card. TFS
ReplyDeleteOh My...what a beautiful card with the cherries!
ReplyDeleteGreat coloring and you are so good with bling!
ReplyDeleteWow -0 the coloring around the oval really sets off those yummy looking cherries
ReplyDeleteWOW, Susan! Love the way you framed the cherries. I'm working with the blackberries today and hope to have something up by Monday. Fab card!
ReplyDeleteSusan, your cherries look so real I could just pick them off the card. And I love the red frame you created around your cherries image. It makes those luscious cherries stand out even more!
ReplyDeleteThe glossy accents made the cherries nice and dark, very nice, and the sponged oval sets them off perfectly!
