Lady Kathleen

We have another challenge by Team A starting today over at Through the Craftroom Door. This week, our sponsor is our very own Sandi Huggett of Sandi's Samples.

I chose 60-Lady Kathleen for my inspiration card. Isn't she lovely? She reminds me of my mother. She used to always wear hats like this. The card is a cut file from Silhouette Online. I used a pale purple for the base of the card, and a darker purple for the inset. I printed the image on white card stock and colored it with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers (dress - IB1, IB2, IB3, HB1, PL2, PL3; face - FS1, IB2, DR2; hair - CT2, CT4; flowers - HB1, HB2; leaves - JG2; feathers - IB1, IB2, IB3). I used an EK Success rounded corner punch and layered it on matching blue card stock. I added purple crystals on the dress and hat and purple pearls on the card for added bling!

If you aren't currently a member of Through the Craftroom Door, pop on over and sign up. It's Free! You can also subscribe to the awesome bi-monthly online magazine as well. In addition to the wonderful inspiration and tutorials in the magazine, you will also receive access to download the free digital images that come with the magazine, as well as access to the previous magazines and their downloads. Here is a sample of the magazine. Take a look...you're going to LOVE it!!
